My keen interest in anime started when I was very young.  I remember watching Akira on video with my dad in his flat…I must have only been about 7, so for those of you who have seen Akira, you could probably guess that at that age, it didn’t make a great deal of sense to me ^_^.  But I loved it, I couldn’t even tell you why, but I thought it was fantastic…probably had something to do with people exploding ^_^.

It was a few years until I really found out about anime, when I found Akira in a dvd store, and saw all the other cool movies available for me to buy.  I remember that because I was too young to buy the dvd’s I used to sneak downstairs at night and watch it on the sci-fi channel.  Then my brother found out what I was doing, and he decided to tag along with me for our nightly ritual of anime.

Once I was old enough, and had money to spend on anime, that was pretty much all I bought.  So now, I have a relatively large collection of anime, and quite a large amount of knowledge of the subject to go with it.  That is why I created this blog, what’s the point in knowing all this stuff, and having no-one to share it with ^_^.
